Lake County, California (April 8th, 2019) – According to reporting from the Lake County Record-Bee, a 20-year-old man was identified as the victim of a deadly single-car accident that occurred Monday on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.
Ruben James Foreman was riding as a passenger in the vehicle of an 18-year-old driver. Along with another unidentified juvenile, they were travelling in the northbound direction on the Nice-Lucerne Cutoff.
At approximately 4:30 PM, the driver lost control of his Acura Integra and crashed into a wooden fence that was along the side of the roadway.

Neither the driver nor the juvenile passenger is believed to have suffered serious injuries in the crash. The California Highway Patrol does not believe that drugs or alcohol was a factor in the accident. Though, poor road conditions as a result of rainy weather may have contributed.
